Features
- The energy pack consists of a control module and a lead-acid, gel cell battery (12V/20Ah) which is rechargeable, leakproof and position-insensitive. The control module consists of a housing that includes a plug-connection, a contactor relay and a charge monitor with a test key, a reset key and a buzzer. The charge monitor includes an under-voltage protection feature and a total discharge protection feature. The battery in the new energy pack is a lead accumulator (12 V/20Ah) which is encapsulated, maintenance free, position insensitive and leakproof. The battery life is approximately 1000 charging cycles and is replaceable.
- The Freedom Series are self-contained, electro-hydraulic tools. They operate from an energy pack that is worn over-the-shoulder of the rescuer. There are no bulky power units to transport, which results in less noise, less user fatigue and no exhaust fumes. The Freedom Series has spreading, cutting and pulling capabilities to handle the most difficult evolutions.
